Intertestingly:

This site is a bit of a family affair. Frankly, my wife and daughter both have excellent sound quality and are extremely accurate singers. My wife is a speech pathologist and music director for the high school musicals and does a lot of vocal training with students (being a speech therapist also helps to create a good “ear”). My daughter is in an excellent music degree program at the University of California-Irvine as a Vocal Performance major, sitting under one of the foremost “counter-tenors” in the world, as her professor, voice coach and mentor.

My oldest son has perfect musical pitch (he’s also high functioning autistic). My youngest son is heavily involved in choir, and musical theater at his high school and is becoming quite a good guitarist. So, our house is filled with music, in fact it often better resembles a Broadway musical than it does anything else…it seems that my two favorite females are continually breaking out in song….it’s a bit odd but a lot of fun. Speaking of fun, it’s a bit crazy when our family gathers with my brother-in-law and his family. Dave is a a professional musician, composer and arranger and his wife and 3 kids follow suit. But you’d think that the only vocabulary anyone in this whole combined family understands is that which comes from, music and movie references. As such, laughter, song and hilarity ensues… At this site, we want to provide you with articles and ideas that will simplify your growth and success in music. Whether you have American Idol aspirations, a barber shop quartet, your community, high school or college choir, or you just like to sing in the shower, getting the right information and then the application of that knowledge will make you a better singer.

It is our hope that you will gain valuable vocal performance information that can be of help to you or someone you know sing better and with stronger vocal range, clarity and beauty.

We wish you well in your singing endeavors – be it professionally, in your church or simply in your shower stall. Your singing abilities will improve by using this site.

Our Best to you,

The Team at Prosinging.com

Great site guys. I love to sing but know that I have a lot to learn. I’m excited to check out Brett Manning’s vocal tools. They look really useful. Thanks for putting me on to them.

I’m going to sing better real – soon. Wait and see. :-)
